SINOPSIS / SYNOPSIS
Lembranza se adueña de los recuerdos de una historia familiar de artistas y desde la intimidad, proponer un ensayo sobre el tiempo, la memoria y la imagen. Sus relaciones, gestos y condiciones en un discurso esencial sobre el arte cinematográfico. Un trabajo en el que a partir de ciertos fragmentos familiares encontrados, recuperados y rescatados de viejos rollos de Super 8, se ha sometido a prueba principios de la imagen introspectiva, aquella almacenada en nuestra conciencia. La relación del “yo” establecida con la imagen cinematográfica y como aquella “verdad” del cine nos acerca a la realidad de un mundo ligado entre pasado, presente y futuro.
“Lembranza” seizes the memories belonging to the family history of artists and builds on this intimacy to propose an essay about time, memory and the image. The relations, gestures and conditions shape an essential discussion about the art of cinema. Building on fragments found, recovered and rescued from old Super 8s, we tested the principles of the inner image, the one engraved in our conscience. The relations the “I” establishes with the filmic image and how that cinematographic “truth” takes us closer to the reality of a world between past, present and future.
